Snow Day
Disclaimer: Friends and family up in Washington State may laugh at the small amount of snow we had...but a snow day is a snow day...even if it all melts away by the afternoon!
The news was calling for snow on Sunday, but I didn't believe them. I feel that the always have a 50/50 shot on getting it right and I'm usually pessimestic about it. When it started snowing late Sunday night, I was surprised!
When Jax woke up in the morning, he was so happy to see snow! After breakfast, he ran out there so he could make a snowman. I had to explain to him that there wasn't enough but he could still have fun.
I took Julianne out there as well, but once I held up some snow for her, she started crying and wanted to be back inside. Me too, Jules! It was cold!
But Jax contined to run around out there. He threw snowballs and tried to make a snow angel. Bless his heart. This was the first year that we didn't go to Tall Timber and he would have LOVED it! All the other years he was too small to enjoy the snow.
Julie enjoyed looking at the snow and looking at Jaxson but that was about as close as she was going to get to the white stuff!
