Project Life Tuesday

September 6

The remnants of Tropical Storm Lee came our way.  This was way more exciting than Hurricane Irene for us.  Lots of rain, wind, and tornado watches!  Oh my!

September 7

Julianne is hanging out at Justin's office...trying to crawl.  So close!

September 8

We received a Sam's Club gift membership.  So nice!  We are in love with the Costco hot dogs so we had to see what the Sam's Club hot dogs are like.  The first time we went to Sam's to check this out...they were out of hot dogs.  No kidding.  Could they not go into the back refrigerated section and pull some out?  We would probably never know the difference.  Anyways, the second time we stopped there we finally got to try the hot dogs.  Here's our review:  The actual hot dog is way better than Costco's.  However, Sam's Club buns are terrible!  So if we could have the Sam's Club hot dog with the Costco bun, we'd have the perfect hot dog!  (Clearly, hot dogs are very important to us!)

Went to Triangle Town Shopping Center so Jax could run around in the play area.  He's a bad influence to the other kids.  He decided to do sommersaults off the slide.  He's starting to become a dare-devil and I'm not sure how I feel about that.

September 10

Someone (ahem, who should remain nameless) was suppposed to be watching the kids as I was working on the house.  But he may or may not got absorbed in some work emails and while he was working away, Jax got into my make-up.  After I discovered this, I was a little annoyed (at said nameless person) but when Julie rolled over and I got a look at her, it was priceless!

September 11

Sunday was a busy day for us.  We were at church all morning long and then we had the Youth Group Kick-off dinner that night.  What a great turnout.  It is amazing to see how God has blessed this group last year when they only had volunteers running the program while searching for a Youth Pastor.  My favorite part of the night was right before dinner, Jax got up on the stage and was singing "Jesus Loves Me" and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" to himself up there, complete with motions he learned from Sunday School.  You can see more pictures of the dinner at Justin's blog.

September 12

No picture.  We were all exhausted from the busy day on Sunday.
